New Media Technologies
Technology played a huge part in researching, planning, evaluating and creating my media product. Below is a list of media technologies I have used through the whole process of completing my work.
Adobe Photoshop was the programme I spent most of my time on and put the majority of my effort into as I had never used it before. Photoshop's features allowed me to edit photographs and improve the quality of them. This is a skill I can use in day-to-day life and would definitely help me if I continue my education in media. I did struggle at first but after my Preliminary task I felt much more confident in using the Photoshop software.
Blogger was the best option for displaying my final evaluation of the whole product as it's the simplest blogging website around and considering I have never blogged before this topic, I found it very easy and enjoyable to use. I may even start my own blog on it now. It has introduced me into a new style of social networking.
Facebook is a social networking website I have been using for three years now, so I was very familiar with the tools and features. I used Facebook as a secondary source for gaining feedback from my peers and I also arranged the photo shoot that took place in November through Facebook's chat feature.
